All interested Concessionaires & Exhibitors for the 2009 Great New York State Fair:
You must complete the 2009 New York State Fair Application for Space (PDF). Instructions are included with the application.
The New York State Fair Traffic Designations (PDF) and the Concession and Exhibit License Rate Structure (PDF) provide information regarding rates during the 2009 NYS Fair.

2009 Concessionaire & Exhibitor Application For Space
- The2009 New York State Fair Application for Space (PDF) is neither an offer nor guarantee for space.
- Do not send any money with the application.
- Requests for applications will be accepted from January 1 to August 1, 2009.
- Applications will be reviewed considering the following guidelines: quality, diversity, demand, previous experience and current standing with the State of New York. Applications that meet the above guidelines will be considered for available space on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- The New York State Fair Traffic Designations (PDF) and the Concession and Exhibit License Rate Structure (PDF) provide information regarding rates during the 2009 NYS Fair.
- If you are applying for more than one location, an application must be completed for each location. Please make a photocopy of the original location for each additional location.
- The New York State Fair Application for Space must be fully completed. All applicants will receive an acknowledgement from the New York State Fair regarding the status of their application. Incomplete applications will not be considered and will be returned noting the reason for the return.
- You must include a clear color photograph of your Concession or Exhibit. Photos will not be returned.
- The list of products you are requesting to sell/display/promote/give-away must be specific. If a license is issued, it will be issued on the basis of this original list provided in your application only. Changes must be made in writing to the Concessions and Exhibits Manager.
- Any brochures, handouts, catalogs, etc. that will best describe your product/service must be included with your application.
- The Application for Space notes several items that require PRIOR approval. This includes the use of amplified sound (i.e. microphones, etc.), entertainment at your location and giveaways. Please provide as much detail as possible when completing your application.
- If a license is issued, management will determine your location. Locations are determined based on the overall dimensions of the display, utilities required and type of product (avoiding duplication).
- All Concessionaires and Exhibitors will be required to be open from 10:00am to 10:00pm (10:30pm for outside locations) with staffing all twelve days (12 days). Outside locations can open at 8:00am and/or remain open until 12:00 midnight.
- Concessionaires and Exhibitors (including employees) will be charged $3.00 for admission (per person/per day sold in books of 12). A limited number of Concessionaire and Exhibitor parking credentials are available. The normal parking rate is $5.00 (per vehicle/per day).
- Any wholesale supplier servicing your location will be required to obtain a Wholesale & Service Supplier Agreement with the New York State Fair. Non-permitted suppliers will not be allowed on the Fairgrounds.
- All service suppliers requiring access to the Fairgrounds during the New York State Fair will need to obtain their own admission and parking.
- All Concessionaires and Exhibitors participating in the New York State Fair will be required to provide the following:
- General liability (in minimum limits of $1,000,0000)
- Products liability (in minimum limits of $1,000,000)
- Workers compensation (in accordance with the laws of NYS)
- Liquor liability (all beer/wine/liquor vendors) (in minimum limits of $1,000,000)
- a New York State Sales Tax Registration number for all Concessionaires and Exhibitors offering for sale or selling taxable merchandise or services.
