Jason Derulo, whose appearance at the 2014 Great New York State Fair was the largest of the year, will return to the Chevy Court stage on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 8 p.m. Derulo will perform in place of Meghan Trainor, who cancelled her entire tour in order to undergo surgery on her throat.
Derulo wowed a Chevy Court crowd of 22,800 last year, the largest crowd for any show at the Fair. In June, 2015, he released his fourth studio album, “Everything Is 4,” which merges his pop, dance, and urban sensibilities and finds him truly hitting his stride as a genre-defying artist. The album debuted in the #4 position on the Billboard Hot 100 and its first single, “Want To Want Me,” hit #1 and was the most added single in the history of Top 40 radio. His new single, “Cheyenne,” is rising on the Top 40 charts now. He’s sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, with 11 songs hitting the top 10 and six in the top five. His music has been seen more than 2 billion times on YouTube. Derulo can also be found on TVs across America, as a judge on this year’s edition of “So You Think You Can Dance.”
