Parking & Temporary RV Parking Information

Parking Facilities

The Empire Expo Center has parking for over 23,000 cars. For nearly all non-Faitime events parking is free unless noted.

Fairtime Parking

You will be directed to the nearest available parking via signs and parking attendants. Ample parking is available in designated lots around the Fair. Follow signs from 690 west. Cost is $5 per vehicle. A free shuttle bus service is provided from the upper lots to the Main Gate.

E-Z Pass Plus will be accepted in the Brown and Orange lots. Follow the Purple E-ZPass Plus signs for quick, cashless access.

Temporary RV Parking

As part of our continuous improvement effort to bring you a better experience at the New York State Fair, we have implemented an advanced registration process for Full Fair Temporary RV Parking during the New York State Fair. Applications for reserving Temporary RV Parking locations were made available on Monday, March 2, 2009 and the deadline for submitting them was Friday, March 20, 2009. At this time, we are no longer accepting advanced registration applications.

There are several locations remaining for Full Fair Temporary RV Parking with services (electric, water, septic) in both the Infield ($400/site) and Belle Isle Lot ($440/site).  These credentials will allow you access to your site anytime after Sunday, August 23, 2009 and you must vacate the site by Wednesday, September 9, 2009. These locations will be available for sale in-person only (no telephone or online sales) beginning Monday, August 10, 2009 at 10:00am at the Parking Office trailer (enter Gate 2, make an immediate right and proceed down Tonawanda Street – office located just beyond the Indian Village on the right, behind the Maintenance Office). Parking Office hours are 10:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Daily Temporary RV Parking locations with no services are available in the Black Lot for $15/overnight. These locations will only be available for purchase upon arrival once the Fair begins.
