As New York State's largest annual event, the New York State Fair sees itself as an economic engine that should be used to benefit the state's workers and businesses. And we see the Fair's Americraft Center of Progress Building - visited by 800,000 to 900,000 people each summer during the Fair - as a valuable economic tool.

That's why the Fair dedicates a portion of the building each year to showcasing exciting innovations in New York business, government, tourism and science as part of "Vision NY - Innovation at the Center of Progress."

This year, competition for the rent-free exhibit space granted to first-time exhibitors is expected to be intense. A limited number of diverse, high-quality exhibitors will be selected by May 1. After that, rent-free or reduced-price booth space will no longer be available through the Vision NY initiative, although individual vendors and exhibitors from New York State will have an opportunity to rent space in the Center of Progress Building as part of the "Vision NY" exhibit.
